The rain seemed to follow us everywhere, so for most parts of the sunday, which was also overcrowded with tourists trying to get in the cathedral, we had a fantastic and cosy time in the highly recommended hotel “Smart Boutique Hotel Literario San Bieito” – very central (see map)

Next day we went into the cathedral and witnessed a mass, which was a much nicer experience than just your usual church visit.
